Localization Specialist

Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain translated content within the CMS and TMS
- Coordinate import, export, and publication of multilingual content throughout the localization project lifecycle
- Ensure content assets, translation memories, and linguistic resources are properly maintained and updated
- Review, document, and track linguistic comments, quality issues, and stakeholder feedback through resolution
- Collaborate with internal reviewers and localization vendors on consistent linguistic changes
- Maintain records of quality issues, resolutions, and corrective actions
- Track and analyze linguist/vendor performance metrics — quality scores, turnaround times, issue trends
- Develop data visualizations to communicate localization performance and quality trends to stakeholders
Experience Required
- 2- 5 years in translation, localization, or language services industry preferred
Skills & Certifications
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Multitasking and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
- Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly Excel
- Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools and Translation Management Systems (TMS) - XTM and/or Trados Enterprise a strong plus
- Familiarity with DITA XML structured authoring and Content Management Systems (CMS) - Tridion Docs a strong plus
- Understanding of translation quality management and localization best practices
Eligibilities & qualifications
- Bachelor\'s degree in a foreign language, linguistics, translation, localization, or related field
- Experience in medical device, healthcare, life sciences, or regulated-content industries a plus
- Able to work 1st shift, remote eligible
- No drug screening required
