As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver Alarm Response in Gibbstown, NJ, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $18.63 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM How This Role Works: Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a chemical and petrochemical location. Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-condition notifications, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, process areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity. Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and reporting access-control concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision. Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs in accordance with site-specific requirements. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
