As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Alarm Panel Patrol Driver in Gibbstown, NJ , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $18.63 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM How This Role Works: Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a chemical/petrochemical location by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑control practices, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, process areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter boundaries to help identify unusual activity, hazards, or unauthorized access. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, maintain required logs, and communicate access concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures. Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate observations, equipment concerns, and security‑related issues to appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A state, county, or city‑issued security‑related license is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
