Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Family Health Clinic Job Type: Full‑Time | Days: Monday–Thursday 8:00am–5:00pm; Friday 8:00am–12:00pm Responsibilities Under the supervision of a registered nurse, provide direct patient care in accordance with scope and standards of practice. Perform plan‑of‑care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care; administer medication as required; document patient care. Assist the RN with development of the plan of care. Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Monitor, document, and communicate patient status and reactions to interventions with RN, physician, patient, and families. Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients. Schedule appointments and procedures as ordered by the provider. Obtain insurance re‑authorizations for testing and scheduled procedures. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire. Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision, and ability to work effectively in a stressful environment.
