More about our team At the Lynville Primary Care Clinic, we are looking for an experienced nurse who is committed to providing high quality care to our patients. We offer a supportive environment with hands on experience, and prioritize keeping a good culture throughout the clinic. How you'll contribute Provides direct patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice, supervised and delegated by a registered nurse. Performs plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care; may administer medication; documents patient care given. Assists RN with development of plan of care. Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Monitors, documents, and communicates patient's status and reactions to interventions with RN, physician, patient, and families. Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient. Schedules appointments and procedures as ordered by the provider. What we're looking for Applicants should have a current Tennessee or compact state LPN license and be a graduate of a Practical Nursing program. Additional requirements include: Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire. Required Skills: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Licenses: LPN license for the State of Tennessee. Education: Graduate of a Practical Nursing program.
