Accounts Payable Clerk

. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.

Prints and obtains signatures on all accounts payable checks.

Distributes signed checks as required.

Answers all vendor inquiries.

Maintains all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets and corporate accounts payable files.

Prepares cleared checks for storage.

Assists in monthly closings.

Prepares analysis of accounts, as required.

Performs filing and copying.

Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Must have 2-3 years of accounts payable experience

Computer skills required. Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

LANGUAGE SKILLS High level of verbal communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills

Ability to interact professionally with customers, employees and vendors.

Ability to read and understand various documents
