Onsite IT Support Specialist

Salary: $56,160 - 56,160 per year Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in IT support, help desk, desktop support, or a comparable technical position.
• Practical knowledge of Windows PCs, Microsoft 365, printers, peripherals, and basic networking.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to decide when an issue can be handled independently and when it should be escalated.
• Excellent client-service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical issues clearly to employees with varying levels of technical knowledge.
• Strong organization skills and consistent follow-through.
• Ability to work independently while partnering with an external IT support provider.
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation for travel between our locations.
• Associate degree or technical training in information technology or a related field is preferred.
• CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or similar certification is preferred.
• Previous IT experience in healthcare or a multi-location organization is preferred.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare information security requirements is preferred.
• Experience with ticketing systems, VoIP phones, equipment inventory, and Microsoft 365 support is preferred.

• Serve as the first point of contact for employees seeking day-to-day IT help.
• Troubleshoot computers, software, printers, phones, peripherals, connectivity, login, and other common technology issues.
• Provide hands-on support at our locations when problems cannot be resolved remotely.
• Set up computers, monitors, phones, printers, and other equipment.
• Prepare workstations and technology for new hires.
• Support technology-related onboarding, offboarding, and employee changes.
• Keep accurate records of computers, phones, and other assigned IT equipment.
• Coordinate equipment replacements, repairs, relocations, and returns.
• Escalate advanced technical, network, security, or infrastructure issues to our external IT vendor.
• Work directly with the vendor during troubleshooting and follow issues through resolution.
• Keep employees updated when issues require additional time or vendor involvement.
• Support conference room, audiovisual, phone, and other shared technology.
• Assist with technology upgrades, installations, rollouts, and other IT projects.
• Identify recurring issues and opportunities to improve technology reliability and employee support.
• Follow our information security, HIPAA, privacy, and access-control requirements.

This is a full-time, onsite role with regular travel between our ROC locations.
