This contract opportunity offers the chance to work in a FASE (Life Skills) classroom, providing hands-on instruction and individualized learning experiences for students requiring specialized support.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold an active Special Education Certification in Texas
• Possess at least one of the following endorsements (aligned to grade level): Self Contained, Core Subjects, or Generalist
• Previous experience in Life Skills, FASE classrooms, or similar settings strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to implement IEPs and collaborate with support staff, general educators, and families
• Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a commitment to inclusive practices

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop, adapt, and deliver instructional strategies for students with moderate to severe needs in a supportive, structured environment
• Implement behavioral interventions and life skills instruction to promote student independence
• Monitor, document, and report on student progress toward IEP goals, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Foster a positive, respectful classroom culture conducive to student growth and active participation
• Engage with families and outside specialists to ensure continuity of care and learning
