BSA/AML Analyst

Location Requirement Position is open only to candidates who currently reside in one of the following approved locations: Tampa, FL; Blue Ash or Cincinnati, OH; or LosAngeles, CA. Job Summary As the BSA/AML Analyst, you will use transactional monitoring and data‑analysis skills to ensure Green Dot’s BSA/AML/OFAC program meets federal regulations. You will identify, assess, and defend against emerging financial threats to our card and account holders and improve overall process and team efficiency across all Green Dot payment platforms. Key Responsibilities Analyze transaction monitoring reports and determine whether enhanced due diligence or investigation is warranted. Take appropriate action with cardholders and account holders based on analysis of card/accountholder and SSN activity. Apply subjective decision‑making for all aspects of BSA/AML functions. Fulfill BSA/AML/OFAC regulatory requirements, including filing SARs, CTRs, and other required filings, and maintain required logging and documentation standards. Develop expertise on all BSA/AML/OFAC controls at Green Dot, including mastering related front‑end systems, applications, data sources, and back‑end controls. Review existing reporting and recommend enhancements to capture unusual activity while limiting false positives. Use analytical skills to produce and follow leads, link related activities, develop complete pictures of suspicious activity, and uncover new fraud trends. Compliance Requirement All employees must complete and maintain current training in the BankSecrecyAct (BSA), Anti‑MoneyLaundering (AML), and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regulations, including initial onboarding training and ongoing annual refreshers as mandated by Green Dot’s compliance policies. Required Qualifications Minimum 3 years of BSA/AML/OFAC-related experience in the financial services industry. Experience conducting financial crime investigations, money laundering monitoring, and/or related BSA/AML work. High school diploma or equivalent. Experience with MS Office, especially advanced Excel skills. Organized, efficient, and professional. Extremely detail oriented. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. Experience in AML/BSA investigations and SAR preparation and filing. Money transfer or fintech experience. Regulatory experience. SQL experience. Experience creating management reports and presentations. Eligibility Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship. Ability to meet the location requirement outlined above. Position Type Regular Pay Range The targeted base salary for this position is $55,600 to $83,400 per year.
