Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Obstetrics and Gynecology in Bellefontaine, OH

Doctor of Medicine | Obstetrics and Gynecology Location: Bellefontaine, OH Employer: SalviaCore Solutions Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Responsibilities Provide comprehensive OB/GYN on-call coverage in both the clinic and hospital settings. Manage an average of one delivery per day within a Level I Nursery environment. Perform routine and complicated deliveries, including vaginal births, low forceps, and C-sections (approximately 30% of cases). Conduct fetal heart rate interpretations (NST and FSE) and OB ultrasounds for viability and screening. Manage repair of 3rd and 4th-degree lacerations as required. Utilize Meditech Expanse EMR for all documentation and patient management. Collaborate effectively with a team of four physicians and nursing staff; no supervision of APPs is required. Qualifications & Credentialing Board Status: Must be Board Certified or truly Board Eligible (within one year of graduation). Education: Successful completion of an ABOG or AOA-accredited OB/GYN residency is required. Licensure: A current and active Ohio state medical license is required. Experience: Candidates must have performed at least 50 deliveries in the last 12 months, with a minimum of 5 being C-sections, for credentialing purposes. Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Compliance: A clean malpractice and licensure history is preferred.
