Must-Have:
Truly Board Eligible (within 1 year of graduation) or Board Certified.
ABOG or AOA-accredited residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Clean malpractice/licensure history preferred.
50 deliveries in the last 12 months with at least 5 being C-sections for credentialing purposes.


Description:
We are urgently seeking a locum OB/GYN Physician to cover open dates.
The practice setting involves both clinic and hospital environments.
The physician will be on call for deliveries.
The dates needed for coverage are Thursday, June 25, 2026, to Friday, June 26, 2026, with potential for sporadic coverage afterward.
The provider must remain within a 30-minute radius while on call.
Deliveries average one per day, with approximately 360 births per year.
A 1:4 call rotation is in effect for both weekdays and weekends.
Meditech Expanse EMR is used for documentation and patient management.
The facility has a total of 45 staffed beds, along with 20-room emergency department.
The average number of scheduled patients per day is not applicable.
There are 4 physicians in practice.
No advanced practice providers are providing coverage.
The locum will not be responsible for supervising other healthcare providers.
Occasional high-risk deliveries are managed but typically referred to tertiary centers.
The average percentage of patients requiring C-sections is 30%.
The average number of nursery admissions per day is 1.
The nursery level is I.
Required obstetrics procedures include low-risk pregnancy management and routine delivery procedures.
Complicated delivery procedures, including C-section and breech births, are required.
VBACs are not performed.
Repair of third and fourth-degree lacerations, as required, is part of the duties.
Board certification or true board eligibility is required for this position.
