Licensed Clinical Therapist I - Community Crisis Response Team*

Official Title: Clinical Therapist I – Community Crisis Response Team (CCRT) Responsibilities Licensed Clinical Therapists I assigned to the CCRT will provide field‑based crisis response 365 days per year, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. They participate in the initial stages of disaster response and deliver one‑on‑one crisis intervention at the individual’s location. CCRT staff do not carry caseloads and are offered 4‑out‑of‑10 schedules. The teams collaborate closely with law enforcement, schools, other Behavioral Health programs, and individuals and families of all ages and demographics. They respond to disaster and critical incidents in the county, providing brief crisis intervention support and therapeutic tools. Shifts Some programs offer 24‑hour services; assignments may require work evenings, weekends, holidays, and on‑call duties. Travel Travel throughout the county may be required depending on the assignment. Employees will be eligible for mileage reimbursement at the current IRS rate. At the time of hire, a valid California driver license and proof of automobile liability insurance must be provided and maintained. Differential Compensation Therapists regularly assigned to detention facilities receive additional compensation. Applicants should indicate interest and availability for detention‑facility positions on the supplemental questionnaire. License Requirements Must be licensed in the State of California as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). Applicants must provide license number and expiration date on the Supplemental Questionnaire and a copy of the license upon appointment. License must be maintained and kept in good standing. Bilingual Opportunities Fluency in American Sign Language, Arabic, Korean, Mandarin, Spanish, Tagalog, and/or Vietnamese is strongly encouraged. Additional compensation is associated with positions requiring bilingual skills. Testing of bilingual skills may be required.
