About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President (SVP) of Consumer Lending to join their team. The SVP will be a key leader, providing strategic oversight and operational excellence across all consumer lending functions. This includes indirect lending, direct consumer lending underwriting, and consumer lending operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the consumer lending programs are competitive, compliant, efficient, and aligned with the company's purpose, vision, and strategic goals. The role also involves setting and evaluating lending goals, responding to changes in regulatory and market conditions, and championing continuous improvement and modernization across consumer lending. Applicants for the SVP of Consumer Lending position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in consumer lending sales and operations, with a strong background in credit management and a deep understanding of the competitive landscape. The role requires a leader with excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to develop and execute consumer lending strategies. The SVP will be responsible for leading a team of Vice Presidents, so strong management and interpersonal skills are essential. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field, and a professional certification or graduate degree is preferred.
