About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of Finance and Accounting to take on a pivotal role in the organization. The successful candidate will be a trusted financial leader, responsible for all aspects of accounting and finance. This includes owning the full accounting cycle, strengthening customer billing and accounts receivable processes, developing and maintaining internal controls, and leading budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. The role also involves overseeing manufacturing cost accounting, inventory, and operational performance analysis, as well as completing the final stages of an ERP implementation and optimizing finance and accounting processes within the system. Candidates for this role should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred. A minimum of 7-10 years' progressive accounting and finance experience, particularly in a manufacturing environment, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in controllership, GAAP, financial reporting, and manufacturing cost accounting. Experience in a smaller, hands-on business environment and a proven track record of improving or rebuilding accounting processes are essential. The role demands a practical, accountable, and collaborative leadership style, with the ability to mentor a small team and a willingness to be hands-on when necessary.
