Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be tasked with a variety of clinical and administrative responsibilities:

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on adults aged 18 and older who experience mental health disorders that hinder their ability to achieve community stability and independence. You will engage with individuals facing varied challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health conditions. By employing a recovery-oriented framework, you will nurture their strengths, promote resilience, and empower them to achieve their goals.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• A current state license from the state board, such as:

• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
\n
• Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
\n
• Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
\n
• Licensed Psychologist (PsyD)
\n
\n
• The ability to practice independently without supervision, demonstrating self-initiative and strong problem-solving skills.

• No disciplinary actions on the license.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, showcasing empathy and professionalism in all client interactions.

• Technical proficiency, including computer literacy and access to reliable Wi-Fi for effective telehealth service delivery.

Preferred Experience\n

Ideal candidates should also have experience in providing direct clinical services and working within a community health setting. Familiarity with skill-building activities, symptom monitoring, and management techniques is advantageous. Experience in helping clients develop daily living skills, leisure time interests, and behavior management strategies will be critical to your success in this role.
