Our growing law firm is seeking a motivated and driven Associate Attorney to join our civil litigation team. This position offers the opportunity to work directly with experienced attorneys on a wide range of matters, including business disputes, real estate litigation, commercial controversies, and select transactional matters.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys legal research and writing, takes pride in producing excellent work product, and is eager to develop courtroom and deposition experience. Associates work closely with firm leadership, receive ongoing mentorship and training, and are given meaningful responsibility from the outset.

Compensation: $110,000 to $145,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

What You Will Do:

• Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues
• Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, discovery requests and responses, and other legal documents
• Assist in developing case strategy and preparing cases for litigation
• Attend client meetings and maintain strong client communications
• Prepare for and conduct depositions
• Attend and argue hearings and evidentiary matters
• Work collaboratively with attorneys and staff to efficiently manage matters from inception through conclusion of the case
• Maintain organized and accurate case files and litigation calendars

Qualifications:

• Admission to The Florida Bar and good standing
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Confidence in drafting legal documents and evaluating legal issues
• Familiarity with Westlaw and other legal research resources
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work product
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
• Prior litigation experience is preferred but not required
