Junior Accountant

The 61st Street Service Corporation provides administrative and clinical support services for ColumbiaDoctors. Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support and collaborate closely with the Finance team. This role is responsible for processing payments, maintaining accurate financial records in QuickBooks Online, and tracking chargeback revenue. Key Responsibilities Ensure timely payment of non-benefit invoices. Review invoices for accuracy, completeness, and proper charges. Upload and manage vendor invoices in the Accounts Payable system. Investigate and resolve overdue balances, including direct communication with vendors. Assist with monthly and quarterly chargebacks to departments and distribute charge notices. Track monthly salary and fringe billing and incoming revenue and maintain revenue timeline spreadsheet. Follow up with any outstanding receivables, as needed. Process and post incoming wires, deposits, and invoices into QuickBooks Online. Perform monthly bank reconciliations. Process approved tuition reimbursement transactions, including posting of payables and reimbursements. Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures. Assist with the annual audit process, including preparation of supporting documentation and schedules. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required Minimum 3+ years of Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable experience Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks Online Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to multitask and manage deadlines effectively Strong mathematical and analytical abilities Team-oriented with the ability to follow directions and collaborate effectively #J-18808-Ljbffr 61st Street Service Corp
