This position allows for a remote work setting, enabling you to conduct therapy sessions from a comfortable and supportive environment. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, offering a stable work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and compassionate assessments to evaluate clients’ eating disorder symptoms, their mental health history, and specific treatment needs.

• Develop tailored treatment plans in collaboration with clients, establishing clear, achievable goals for their recovery journey.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to facilitate effective treatment.

• Guiding therapy sessions that tackle nuanced issues surrounding distorted perceptions of body image, unhealthy relationships with food, and challenges with self-esteem.

• Empower clients to develop practical coping strategies, including enhanced emotional regulation and resistance techniques against disordered eating behaviors.

• Collaborate with a diverse treatment team to ensure seamless care coordination, fostering a holistic approach to each client’s mental health needs.

• Provide educational resources and psychoeducation to both clients and their families, enhancing their understanding of eating disorders and reinforcing a supportive recovery environment.

• Maintain accurate progress notes, treatment plans, and session documentation, adhering to all relevant legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Tennessee.

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based treatment methodologies specifically targeting eating disorders.
