Description

• Conduct evaluations for patients in inpatient or outpatient environments, tailoring treatment plans to individual needs
• Deliver physical therapy interventions that enhance mobility, fortify strength, improve balance, and boost functional outcomes
• Work collaboratively with medical personnel, including nurses, physicians, case managers, and rehabilitation specialists, to maximize patient outcomes
• Guide and educate patients and their families about therapeutic processes, discharge planning, and at-home exercises
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress in compliance with regulatory and facility requirements
• Engage in interdisciplinary team rounds and conferences to ensure seamless coordinated care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Must possess state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Additional specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous, though not mandatory

Skills

• Previous experience in a clinical setting is greatly valued
