Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist for Home Care Services

Premier Rehabilitation Services is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic team. Work Environment

This position is based onsite, as part of our robust home care program where therapists visit patients in their homes. The flexible working environment allows our staff to form meaningful connections with clients in their own settings, enhancing the rehabilitation process. Our office operates Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, promoting a balanced work-life structure whilst addressing the pressing needs of our patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and formulate individualized treatment plans based on thorough evaluation and collaboration with patients.
• Manage a patient load of one patient per hour, ensuring dedicated attention and tailored interventions.
• Conduct therapeutic interventions that enhance mobility, flexibility, and overall functional capacity, utilizing a variety of evidence-based techniques.
• Execute patient education on exercises and lifestyle modifications aimed at reducing pain and improving recovery outcomes.
• Implement strategies aiming to promote non-surgical alternatives and minimize reliance on medications.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards using electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as WebPT.
• Motivate patients to adhere to their treatment plans and empower them to take control of their rehabilitation journey.
• Regularly evaluate patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to facilitate optimal recovery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for each patient, making referrals when necessary.
• Engage in continuous education opportunities to remain abreast of the latest therapeutic techniques within the orthopedic care domain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A current Physical Therapist license in California, with no disciplinary actions on record.
• Strong foundation in manual therapy techniques and proficiency in developing individualized exercise protocols.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) software, especially WebPT, is highly advantageous.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills necessary for effective patient interaction and collaboration with team members.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of three years of experience as a Physical Therapist is required, those with a background in orthopedic outpatient care will find this opportunity particularly rewarding and aligned with their expertise. Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 125,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
