This contract opportunity runs from August 3 through May 21, 2027, with a full-time schedule on campus near Mesa, AZ. You’ll play an integral role in supporting students with a variety of exceptional needs—primarily focusing on those in structured intensive support settings for emotional disabilities, autism, and related challenges. Qualifications:

• Valid Arizona Secondary Teaching License
• Current K-12 Special Education Certificate
• IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Background working with students with emotional disabilities and/or other special education eligibilities who experience difficulties with prosocial and self-regulatory skills
• Experience supporting at-risk students, those with limited English proficiency, and students from diverse backgrounds
• Knowledge of creating and implementing special education programs aligned with federal, state, and district regulations
• Willingness to complete Essential Element of Effective Instruction (E.E.E.I.) training, if not already held
• Passion for fostering student growth in a self-contained classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized, structured support for students in a self-contained behavior or autism classroom
• Develop and implement effective instructional strategies tailored to diverse learning needs
• Collaborate with colleagues, families, and support staff to ensure student progress and well-being
• Prepare and maintain accurate special education documentation
• Uphold a positive, inclusive classroom culture that encourages personal, academic, and social development
