Nursing Coordinator

A growing healthcare organization is seeking a detail-oriented Nursing Coordinator to support daily nursing operations and provide administrative assistance to clinical leadership. This role is ideal for someone with healthcare administrative experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to nursing leadership and clinical staff.
• Coordinate staff schedules and assist with shift coverage.
• Maintain accurate patient and department records while ensuring confidentiality.
• Support communication between clinical teams and other departments.
• Prepare reports, manage data entry, and maintain organized documentation.
• Assist with inventory tracking and supply ordering.
• Schedule meetings and provide general office support.
• Help ensure compliance with healthcare policies and procedures.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in healthcare or business is a plus.
• 1+ years of administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare, medical office, or clinical environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
• Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines is a plus.
• Positive attitude with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
