Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nurse Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year PCU experience required License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: - IV start experience - Telemetry experience - Previous travel experience preferred Description: Candidates with only 1 year of experience may be considered, but their profiles will require review. Weekdays and some weekends are included in the schedule. Rotating holidays are part of the job. Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity. Patient-to-nurse ratios estimated at 1:3. BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Skills required include IV starts and telemetry experience. Parking options available for travelers. There is a strict compliance deadline prior to the start date. Candidates must complete fingerprinting as soon as they sign the contract. Reference requirements include two professional references, with at least one from a manager or director. Current employees are ineligible to be hired as travelers. Nurses must have a valid nursing license at the time of submission. Education must be from an accredited program.
