Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of clients, both children and adults, resulting in accurate diagnoses and individualized treatment plans.

• Engage in treatment planning discussions with colleagues, ensuring coordinated care that respects the unique needs of each patient.

• Provide individual, couple, family, and group psychotherapy, utilizing evidence-based practices to address various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.

• Develop and facilitate psychoeducational groups, delivering content that enhances clients’ understanding of mental health and coping strategies.

• Maintain thorough, confidential records in accordance with all applicable regulations, including treatment plans and progress notes.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to evaluate the need for psychiatric medications and monitor clients' responses.

• Participate in mandatory on-call rotations, providing after-hours crisis intervention as necessary.

• Provide guidance to families on treatment plans and support systems, fostering a collaborative approach to mental health management.

• Advocate for clients by referring them to appropriate community resources and services, ensuring comprehensive care.

• Engage in mandated reporting as required and collaborate with colleagues to address safety concerns.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.

• National Provider Identifier (NPI) must be obtained at the time of hire.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of experience in a mental health counseling role, demonstrating a strong capacity for independent clinical judgment and therapeutic interventions.

• Experience in conducting group therapy or psychoeducational sessions is strongly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position offers competitive compensation, between USD 80,000 and 122,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
