We are one of the fastest growing automotive shops in our area and we are looking for a service advisor with a positive attitude to join our team!
Pay is uncapped.
We are looking for someone energetic, friendly, sociable, loves people, someone grounded and not easily swayed in their emotions by outside factors, someone that smiles and has a great tone of voice - someone that genuinely loves helping people and loves sales.
We are very HIGH VOLUME. Must be able to multi-task well and work well under pressure - if you have automotive service experience, looking for someone that can do $500+ ARO and higher and easily handle 15 cars/day - CONTACT US if you have track record of selling $150k/month or more.
Responsibilities and Duties
We are looking for a high energy, motivated individual with a POSITIVE attitude. Someone that has professional sales training - goes above and beyond in customer service to make a sale (we are not pushy but we strongly believe that if we go above and beyond for our customers, they will take care of us).
- Greet customers, keep customers informed, show and explain needed work, sell recommended repairs
- Keep front area clean and maintained, keep professional appearance
- Keep strong communication between technician and customer
- Document all work and information regarding customer vehicle
- Work with Parts Manager and she is there to assist you in daily tasks
Qualifications and Skills
- GED required - college preferred but not required
- Must be highly skilled on the phone! We put high emphasis on incoming phone calls and getting the customer from the call into the shop
- Strong sales highly preferred but not required (we view strong salesperson as being able to relate info to customers without them feeling pressure)
- Knowledge on cars is not necessary as technician will explain all needed work
- Must be proficient with computers (everything we do is cloud based using shop management system, we also order parts online)
- Must have good hygiene and cleanliness- this is a professional front counter role and dress is business casual
