Construction Billing Specialist

Description Are you an accounting professional who enjoys working with numbers, building relationships, and playing a key role in the success of construction projects? Waldinger is seeking a Construction Billing Specialist to join our team in La Vista, NE. In this role, you'll be a critical partner to our project teams, ensuring accurate billing, managing project financials, supporting collections efforts, and helping projects stay on track from start to finish. What You'll Do As a Construction Billing Specialist, you'll support the financial and administrative operations of assigned construction projects by: Project Accounting Set up new projects and maintain project records throughout the project lifecycle Process customer billings, change orders, and project-related accounting transactions Support project managers with financial reporting and job management activities Accounts Receivable Monitor outstanding receivables and proactively follow up on past-due accounts Maintain timely collection efforts and accurate collection notes Partner with management to identify accounts requiring external collection or lien actions Help ensure healthy cash flow across assigned projects Accounts Payable Serve as the primary point of contact for AP-related questions on assigned projects Process purchase orders, subcontractor invoices, and related documentation accurately and efficiently Contract Administration Maintain project contracts, change orders, and supporting documentation Ensure contract records are organized, complete, and up to date Administrative Support Provide additional accounting and administrative support as needed to help projects and teams succeed What We're Looking For 2+ years of accounting, billing, accounts receivable, or related experience Construction industry experience preferred Associate's degree preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Excellent communication and customer service skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting software systems Why Waldinger?
