We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and experienced HR Business Partner to oversee daily office operations while serving as a strategic HR partner to leadership, employees, consultants, vendors, and clients. Position Summary The HR Business Partner will play a critical role in managing human resources operations, employee relations, immigration and visa support, consultant engagement, compliance, office administration, and workforce management. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership while ensuring a positive employee experience and maintaining compliance with federal, state, and client-specific requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the staffing industry, supporting consultants on various visa statuses, and managing workforce programs involving MSPs, VMS platforms, and large System Integrators. Key Responsibilities Human Resources & Employee Relations Serve as the primary HR contact for employees, consultants, and management. Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, employee relations matters, and workplace concerns. Conduct employee investigations and assist with conflict resolution and corrective actions. Manage onboarding, orientation, off boarding, and employee documentation. Support employee development and engagement programs. Assist leadership with organizational planning, workforce strategy, and employee retention efforts. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Manage and track employees working under H-1B, TN, OPT, CPT, EAD, Green Card, and other work authorization categories. Coordinate with immigration attorneys and employees regarding visa renewals, amendments, transfers, and compliance requirements. Maintain accurate immigration documentation and compliance records. Ensure adherence to immigration regulations and client requirements. Assist with public access file maintenance and immigration audits. Staffing Industry Operations Support consultants assigned to client projects through ongoing engagement and communication. Conduct consultant check-ins, employee satisfaction surveys, and retention initiatives. Address consultant concerns, escalations, payroll issues, and assignment-related matters. Assist in workforce planning and consultant redeployment efforts. MSP, VMS & System Integrator Management Serve as a liaison between K-Tek, clients, MSPs, System Integrators, and consultants. Monitor compliance requirements for various client programs. Assist with contractor onboarding, documentation collection, and program compliance. Support escalations related to consultants, vendors, and client programs. Office Management & Administration Manage daily office operations and ensure a professional workplace environment. Coordinate office supplies, vendors, facilities, equipment, and maintenance. Support company events, client meetings, employee engagement activities, and leadership initiatives. Maintain office records, policies, and administrative procedures. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with employment regulations, labor laws, and staffing industry requirements. Maintain employee files, I-9 records, background check documentation, and onboarding records. Assist with audits, client compliance reviews, and internal process improvements. Research and implement compliance requirements for staffing operations across multiple states. Payroll & Benefits Administration Support payroll processing and timesheet management. Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies. Assist employees with benefits enrollment and benefits-related inquiries. Coordinate leave requests, accommodations, and ADA-related matters. Reporting & Analytics Generate HR, workforce, compliance, and employee engagement reports. Track employee turnover, retention, consultant satisfaction, and escalations. Analyze workforce trends and provide recommendations to leadership. Maintain accurate HRIS and employee data records. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 5 years of Human Resources Generalist or HR Business Partner experience. Minimum 3 years of staffing industry experience. Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices. Experience supporting employees on work visas and managing immigration-related processes. Experience working with MSP, VMS, and System Integrator programs. Experience handling employee relations, investigations, and performance management matters. Strong knowledge of onboarding, compliance, payroll, and workforce administration. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems. Preferred Qualifications Experience working within a staffing agency, recruiting firm, or workforce solutions organization. Knowledge of H-1B, TN, OPT, CPT, Green Card, and employment-based immigration processes. Experience managing consultant engagement and workforce programs.
