Manufacturing Production Technician

The Role: Production Technician I

We are seeking a hands-on Production Technician I to assemble, test, and document high-precision motion systems and components. This is a critical role working with advanced technology at a dynamic point in our product evolution.

Hours: 8am to 5pm

Pay Rate: $20 to $25/hr (based on experience)

You will:

• Assemble precision mechanical and electromechanical systems

• Perform final testing and validation to ensure products meet strict quality and performance standards

• Work closely with Manufacturing and Test Engineering teams

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance

What You'll Do

• Assemble and test products to meet customer delivery and performance requirements

• Pull materials and build assemblies per standard operating procedures and engineering drawings

• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions

• Integrate, test, and inspect components using precision measuring instruments

• Troubleshoot and resolve build or quality issues alongside Manufacturing Engineering

• Prepare and package finished goods for shipment

• Participate in 5S and continuous improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Experience in mechanical assembly and testing

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and documentation

• Ability to perform acceptance and performance testing to ensure compliance with specifications

• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills

Preferred:

• Experience with precision motion systems or medical device assembly

• Troubleshooting experience in precision positioning systems

• Familiarity with metrology equipment and measurement/testing of motion control systems

Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
