Junior Fanuc CNC Production Operator Is this you?

• Are you excited to learn Fanuc-driven CNC equipment and grow your machining skills?
• Can you follow detailed work instructions and keep accurate paperwork while hitting production goals?

• Follow cell work instructions and direction from a CNC trainer or supervisor for job, safety/environmental, and inspection steps
• Prepare machines and gages for operation; verify readiness before the first cut
• Run CNC lathes and mills (with exposure to broaching), checking parts against specification using plug, snap, flush pin, go/no-go gages, calipers, and more
• Make necessary offset adjustments to hold tolerance
• Change inserts and apply the tag procedure for correct identification of work
• Document all required information accurately and on time
• Meet or surpass production standards while maintaining company and customer quality expectations
• Maintain housekeeping; follow Safety & Environmental practices including recycling, labeling, and spill response
• Comply with applicable Quality and Environmental system requirements
• Submit continuous improvement ideas (safety, productivity, quality, housekeeping) to your supervisor or the HR box
• Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor

• Experience or trainability on CNC lathes, mills, and broaches
• Machine shop coursework or training (high school or beyond)
• Comfort performing offset adjustments
• Understanding of insert types and radii; ability to change them properly
• Proficiency with gaging: plug, snap, flush pin, go-no/go, calipers, etc.

• Fanuc controls
• High-volume CNC lathe production
• Tool changes (inserts), offset management, and quality troubleshooting
