Clinical Social Worker (Health/CF) Safety Position: Clinical Social Worker (Health/CF) Safety at California Men's Colony (CMC), San Luis Obispo, CA. This is a limited‑term position that may be extended or become permanent. Key Responsibilities Conduct assessments and summarize case information for diagnosis, treatment (level of care), and disposition release. Diagnose and/or collaborate in the formulation of a diagnosis. Develop, monitor, and modify treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary treatment team. Provide assessments, group therapy, collateral conferences, and document and evaluate patients’ progress in treatment. Coordinate placement with community resources and the Classification and Parole Representative. Compensation and Benefits The authorized HAM rate for this classification is P $8,678 – Q $9,319. Recruitment and Retention Bonus available for clinicians newly hired with California Correctional Health Care Services. Eligible employees may receive a $10,000 one‑time recruitment and retention stipend and a monthly differential during the first year (totaling $20,000). CDCR/CCHCS employees selected for hire may earn a $5,000 referral bonus after 90 days of employment.
