Director of Rehabilitation (PT)

Location: St. Joseph, MO (8-county coverage area)
Job Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire

Compensation

$90,000 - $110,000 annually
Mileage reimbursement provided
Additional incentives available for qualified candidates

Position Summary

The Director of Rehab oversees therapy services in a home health setting, ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and effective team management. This role combines leadership responsibilities with patient care (approximately 60% administrative / 40% clinical).

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily rehab operations and therapy staff performance
• Review cases, assign therapists, and support care planning
• Ensure compliance with Medicare guidelines and documentation standards
• Lead case conferences and coordinate interdisciplinary care
• Conduct record reviews, supervisory visits, and QA activities
• Support hiring, training, and development of therapy staff
• Assist with program development, policies, and strategic initiatives

Requirements

• Active PT, OT, or SLP license
• Graduate of an accredited therapy program
• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (home health preferred)
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
