Senior Accountant

To support day-to-day general accounting operations, the remote Senior Accountant will manage foundational general ledger areas, coordinate month-end close processes, and perform budget-versus-actual analysis while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities Perform daily general accounting tasks, including managing prepaid expenses, debt, fixed assets, and accrued expenses Coordinate month-end close schedules, reconciliations, and financial statement roll-forwards in accordance with US GAAP Conduct monthly budget-versus-actuals (BVA) analysis and collaborate with Accounting and FP&A teams on financial reporting deliverables Required qualifications Prior professional accounting experience in a general or corporate accounting role or within public accounting/audit Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA license or active progress toward a CPA is a plus Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles, including revenue recognition and inventory accounting Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems, particularly NetSuite, is highly preferred Experience with Budget Variance Analysis (BVA) preferred, especially in consumer packaged goods (CPG) environments
