Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health status through one-on-one interviews and standardized evaluation tools.
• Develop and implement personalized therapeutic treatment plans that align with clients' goals and needs.
• Engage clients in regular therapy sessions, monitoring their progress and adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure efficacy.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions and culturally responsive techniques in both individual and group therapy settings.
• Provide referrals to other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and support groups, to enhance the client's treatment experience.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions in the electronic health record (EHR) system, adhering to privacy and confidentiality regulations.
• Participate proactively in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care and discuss complex cases.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a varied patient population, including individuals grappling with substance use issues, depression, anxiety disorders, and eating disorders, among other mental health challenges. Qualifications

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current, valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker-R (LCSW-R) in New York State.
• At least four years of experience providing mental health counseling in clinical settings, demonstrating proficiency with diverse patient populations.
• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, evidenced-based treatment modalities, and a commitment to maintaining ethical standards and confidentiality.
• Strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations with a calm demeanor.

Compensation and Benefits
