If you're one of those bright minds, we'd like to meet you.Responsibilities:Responsible for month end close, including preparation of all journal entries/accruals necessary to complete monthly financialsPrepare bank reconciliations and maintain monthly balance sheet workpapersResponsible for all accounting and financial statement distribution deadlinesPrepare monthly management fee billing/reimbursement information for payment by ownerReview and approve Accounts Payable invoices for coding accuracyMaintain cash logs with daily activity and monitor cash balancesInterface with building management and owner representatives on financial and operational issuesAssist with the preparation of annual escalation and settlement billings for CAM, RET and other applicable additional chargesResponsible for key financial aspects of the property including real estate tax paymentsAdditional responsibilities as assignedQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience/education1-2 years of previous accounting experiencePrior real estate experience requiredWorking knowledge of and experience with Yardi accounting softwareExcellent oral and written communication skillsExceptionally strong qualitative and analytical skillsPrior employment history that demonstrates the ability to produce accurate work in a detailed and organized mannerHighly proficient in Microsoft based softwareSolid organizational skills with the ability to work efficiently and independentlyNow is a great time to join our growing team at Remedy!
