Senior Specialist, Technical Product Analyst

Merck seeks a Senior Specialist, Technical Product Analyst to support the Regulatory Document Lifecycle Management Product Team. The role combines product analysis, business analysis, and domain expertise to deliver digital capabilities for regulatory operations and optimize document management processes in a regulated environment.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and vendors to understand regulatory lifecycle and document management process needs
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, process flows, user stories, and functional specifications
- Serve as liaison between business and technical teams, translating business needs into actionable solution requirements
- Analyze current-state processes and identify opportunities for simplification, automation, and continuous improvement
- Develop comprehensive understanding of data flows and processes related to Veeva RIM submissions and archive capabilities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, business administration, computer science, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of product analysis or business analysis experience in life sciences or healthcare
- Strong software development lifecycle and Agile/Waterfall/Kanban methodology knowledge
- Hands-on experience with regulatory information management systems
- Proficiency with JIRA for requirements tracking and backlog management
- Familiarity with GxP, GMP, and compliant system implementation best practices
