Responsibilities
- Perform triage and initial patient assessments for emergency department patients, prioritizing care based on acuity
- Provide stabilization and treatment for trauma and non-trauma emergencies across all ages
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and respond to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record; ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards

Requirements
- Active RN license in California
- ER or acute care experience preferred; strong assessment and prioritization skills required for fast-paced emergencies
- BLS certification required; ACLS and/or PALS recommended based on department needs
- Ability to work 3x12-hour daytime shifts and adapt to rapid changes in patient status
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with diverse teams and obtain credentialing in a timely manner
