Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management and employment law. Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, address concerns and mediate conflicts to foster a positive work environment. Facilitate employee performance evaluation program. Facilitate the onboarding process of new employees. Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non‑mandatory training, continuing education and work assessments. Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications. Facilitates employee recognition programs. Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings. Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations. All other duties as assigned. Requirements Skills and Competencies Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems (Paylocity preferred). Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred. Experience and/or Training: 3+ years of progressive experience in a Human Resources Generalist role, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Licenses/Certificates: HRCI or SHRM accreditation preferred.
