Key Responsibilities

• Engage with patients to identify and prioritize their goals for rehabilitation, tailoring treatment plans accordingly.
• Manage an efficient caseload, seeing one patient per hour to ensure dedicated attention and high-quality care.
• Implement effective treatment strategies that focus on restoring mobility, enhancing balance, and reducing pain.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to develop personalized care plans that encompass various therapeutic techniques.
• Document patient evaluations, treatments, and outcomes thoroughly to maintain accurate health records and facilitate communication with other healthcare team members.
• Motivate and educate patients throughout their treatment journey, fostering an environment of encouragement and support.
• Maintain updated knowledge on advancements in orthopedic therapy and apply best practices in the treatment you provide.
• Collaborate actively with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and ensure a seamless transition through different stages of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on orthopedic patients dealing with post-surgical recovery, chronic pain management, and mobility limitations. Our clientele includes diverse age groups, emphasizing the need for individualized treatment plans that address specific goals and conditions. Your understanding of patient psychology will be crucial in motivating and encouraging their adherence to treatment protocols, thereby making a significant impact on their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida, with no history of board or disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design and implement effective exercise regimens tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience in EMR software, particularly WebPT, to ensure efficient patient documentation and report generation.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
