Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding opportunity awaits an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, contract position in the Detroit, MI area. This role begins August 2026 and runs through June 25, 2027, providing dedicated support to K-12 students. Key Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active Michigan (MI) SLP license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA strongly preferred
• Prior experience working in school settings or with pediatric caseloads is highly valued
• Comfortable working full-time, on-site; remote/virtual work is not available for this assignment
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments and therapies for K-12 students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Monitor student progress, maintain timely documentation, and adjust intervention plans as needed
• Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to support student success in academic and social settings
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to collaborative decision-making
• Remain current on best practices and compliance with state regulations regarding school-based speech services
