Senior Director, Go-to-Market Finance

Our client, a high-growth software company, is seeking a Senior Director of Go-to-Market Finance to lead financial strategy and business partnership efforts across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success functions. 

Location:
This role is 100% remote; however, CST or EST working hours will be required at times. 

Job Description: 
This highly visible leadership role will serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, driving forecasting, planning, performance management, and strategic decision-making to support continued growth. The ideal candidate is an experienced finance leader who can balance hands-on analytical rigor with executive-level strategic influence. 

Responsibilities:

• Lead financial planning, forecasting, and strategic analysis activities for go-to-market functions, including Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
• Partner with executive leadership to evaluate growth opportunities, resource allocation decisions, and investment priorities.
• Oversee revenue forecasting models and planning processes, ensuring alignment between business objectives and financial targets.
• Develop and maintain KPI frameworks, performance reporting, and executive-level business insights.
• Provide strategic recommendations related to pricing, market expansion, operational performance, and long-range planning.
• Drive improvements in forecasting methodologies, reporting processes, systems, and data quality.
• Lead technology and automation initiatives that enhance financial analysis and decision-making capabilities.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team while fostering a culture of accountability, insight generation, and business partnership.

Requirements:

• 12 years of progressive FP&A, finance, or strategic finance experience with significant revenue and commercial finance exposure.
• Experience supporting Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, or broader go-to-market organizations.
• Proven ability to influence executive leadership and support strategic decision-making.
• Strong forecasting, financial modeling, business planning, and performance management expertise.
• Experience leading teams and driving organizational transformation, process improvements, and systems enhancements.
