Solar Sales Manager

Lead the Charge As a Solar Sales Manager, you’ll turn solar opportunities into high-confidence wins—guiding customers from first conversation to signed proposal with clear value and compelling ROI. Key responsibilities Plan daily outreach to service existing accounts, win new accounts, and secure orders Educate customers on financial and professional benefits of solar solutions Build lasting relationships with strategic partners and end-users; generate referrals Attend pre-bid job site visits and support preliminary designs in company software Estimate ROI from system production; coordinate with estimator/Accubid for labor & material costs Source vendor quotes, set pricing in spreadsheets, and finalize project pricing Prepare, follow up on, and close proposals; hit agreed sales targets on schedule Participate in sales/company meetings and cross-sell with other divisions Required qualifications 5+ years sales experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role Strong selling, communication, and negotiation skills; detail-oriented and self-motivated Solid computer skills (Word, Excel, Email); product knowledge High School Diploma/GED; NABCEP PVTS preferred or willingness to obtain Momentum, All Day Your morning kicks off by mapping the day’s customer touchpoints—calls, emails, and quick check-ins that keep opportunities moving. Midday, you’re out on a pre-bid site visit, translating real-world conditions into a clean, customer-ready concept. Back at your desk, you refine ROI snapshots, confirm vendor numbers, and tighten pricing so proposals feel decisive and easy to approve. The afternoon is built for follow-ups: answering sharp questions, aligning timelines, and pushing deals across the finish line. You wrap by syncing with the team in sales meetings, then teeing up tomorrow’s highest-impact conversations.
