LHH is currently recruiting an Intake Specialist to join a mission-driven team in Indianapolis. This is a fully onsite, contract-to-hire role. If you're someone who enjoys helping others, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is ready to jump in immediately - we'd love to hear from you.

Pay: $ 21.63/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Location: Indianapolis -Fully onsite (no remote option)

Type: Contract-to-hire

About the Role:

This position is all about connection and support. You'll be the first point of contact for clients, helping them navigate services, complete applications, and get the assistance they need. It's a great opportunity to make a real impact while building your customer service skills.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Answer incoming calls with professionalism and empathy

• Schedule appointments and assist clients with completing applications

• Review forms for accuracy and completeness

• Perform light data entry and general office support

• Copy and organize client documents (IDs, leases, utility bills, etc.)

• Operate basic office equipment like copiers and scanners

• Help prepare case files and mail notices

• Support caseworkers with documentation and file management

What We're Looking For:

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Comfortable working with diverse populations, including those with limited English

• Detail-oriented and able to handle confidential information with care

• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
