Assistant Site Manager – CityMD The Assistant Site Manager assists in managing, overseeing, and ensuring the successful administrative, financial, and operational aspects of a CityMD urgent care site. Key Responsibilities Support a patient‑centric urgent care experience from welcome to departure. Create an inviting and hospitable environment where patients feel appreciated and well‑cared for. Encourage patients to return and refer family and friends to CityMD. Assist physicians with basic patient care and medical procedures. Aid site managers in directing patient flow, inventory, and lab follow‑ups. Manage front desk performance, monitor patient volume, and handle registration delays. Prepare schedules for non‑providers and assist with physician scheduling. Order and maintain medical supplies, medications, vaccinations, and office supplies. Open and close the site as required. Provide administrative and operational coverage when the site manager is absent. Communicate effectively with physicians and foster team cohesion. Maintain staff professionalism; coach, discipline, and develop staff as needed. Interview, evaluate, and promote patient care representatives. Ensure patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance. Interact courteously with patients at discharge, resolve disputes, and review satisfaction surveys. Qualifications 1–3 years of managing experience (urgent care, medical practice, hospital, retail, hospitality, or restaurant). Must . Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel/Restaurant Management, Business, or related field preferred; relevant experience will be considered. Positive, enthusiastic attitude. Passion for outstanding results and compassion for patients and staff. Proficient computer skills (PC, Microsoft Office). Strong leadership qualities; ability to unite diverse teams. Skillful troubleshooting and constructive confrontation. Entrepreneurial spirit and proactive business operations mindset. Bilingual language skills required or preferred based on site location. Additional Information Work schedule includes long shifts, weekends, and opening/closing duties as needed; on‑site presence required. Physical requirements: occasional lifting of heavy objects, repetitive tasks, light cleaning. Direct reports: Patient Care Representatives. Pay range: $22.00–$25.00 per hour.
