The opportunities are endless.The EHS Manager is responsible for providing day-to-day environmental, health, and safety support to operations within their assigned region. This includes coaching and mentoring field teams, helping leadership implement safety systems, and ensuring a consistent, practical approach to risk management. This role partners closely with operations to build a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations. The EHS Manager also plays a key role in site visits, training, incident response, and driving continuous improvement across all aspects of safety performance.Primary ResponsibilitiesGeneral ResponsibilitiesProvide direct support to crews, supervisors, and company leaders within the assigned regionSupport the implementation and ongoing use of the company’s Safety Management SystemConduct safety assessments, risk evaluations, and compliance reviews at facilities and job sitesGuide operational teams in the application of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safe work practicesAssist with the review and follow-up of incidents and near misses, including root cause identification and corrective action trackingFacilitate or support safety training sessions, tailgate talks, and onboarding programPromote engagement with safety initiatives and help local leaders build ownership of safety practicesField-Focused ResponsibilitiesRoutinely visit jobsites and facilities to provide coaching, observe operations, and reinforce safety expectationsLead or participate in field safety meetings, including daily or weekly briefings and hazard discussionsConduct field safety observations and behavior-based coaching interactionsServe as a point of contact for regional and company leaders regarding safety topics or concernsConduct internal audits and assessments to identify gaps, share best practices, and drive improvementPartner with company leadership to ensure corrective actions are implemented and sustainedPerformance MetricsThe EHS Manager will support progress in the following areas:Execution of Facility Safety Action PlansEHS Training Compliance:95%OSHA TRIR ReductionDART Rate ReductionTimely and complete incident investigations with documented root causesWeekly Company Visit Reports:Driver Qualification File Compliance:95%Reduction in Preventable Vehicle IncidentsQualifications3–6 years of experience in safety, environmental, or risk management rolesBachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field PreferredWorking knowledge of OSHA standards and practical field safety principlesStrong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coach and influence othersComfortable working in outdoor, hands-on environments with a wide range of teamsProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and safety reporting systems$60,000 - $75,000Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
