Position Summary

Leads all seasonal valet operations at an assigned Houston-area location, ensuring safe vehicle handling, excellent guest service,

efficient traffic flow, accurate staffing, and compliance with client and company standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•  Direct daily valet operations, including opening, shift execution, and closing procedures.

•  Develop shift assignments and adjust staffing based on traffic volume, events, weather, and client needs.

•  Lead pre-shift meetings covering assignments, safety expectations, service standards, and operational updates.

•  Monitor vehicle intake, key control, parking locations, retrieval times, lane flow, and guest wait times.

•  Respond professionally to escalated guest concerns, vehicle-related incidents, claims, and client requests.

•  Ensure all accidents, injuries, property damage, lost keys, and service issues are documented and reported promptly.

•  Coach and evaluate supervisors, leads, drivers/attendants, and cashiers; address performance or conduct concerns.

•  Verify timekeeping, attendance, breaks, uniforms, credentials, and completion of required shift records.

•  Coordinate with venue security, event personnel, parking teams, and emergency responders as needed.

•  Protect cash, keys, tickets, technology, and confidential guest information through sound controls.

Minimum Qualifications

•  High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.

•  Three or more years of valet, parking, hospitality, transportation, or event operations experience, including supervisory

responsibility.

•  Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and ability to meet applicable insurance requirements.

•  Strong leadership, scheduling, conflict-resolution, decision-making, and customer-service skills.

•  Ability to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles preferred.

•  Working knowledge of incident reporting, cash controls, traffic flow, and workplace safety.

Physical and Work Environment

•  Regularly stand and walk for extended periods and work outdoors in Houston heat, humidity, rain, and changing weather conditions.

•  Frequently bend, reach, enter and exit vehicles, and move quickly between the valet lane and parking areas.

•  Lift or carry up to 25 pounds; attendants and operational leaders must be able to jog or run short distances when safe and necessary.

•  Maintain the vision, hearing, coordination, and alertness required to perform assigned duties safely, with or without reasonable

accommodation.

Seasonal Schedule and Conditions of Employment

•  Seasonal, temporary assignment based on client and event needs.

•  Schedules may include early mornings, evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and extended hours.

•  Reliable and punctual attendance is an essential function of the position.

•  Employment is contingent upon successful completion of all client and employer requirements, which may include driving-record

review, background screening, drug testing, training, and credential verification.
