Position Summary

Serves as a working team lead who supports safe, fast, and courteous valet service, guides attendants at assigned posts, and

helps maintain accurate ticket, key, and vehicle controls.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•  Model professional guest greetings, vehicle acceptance, inspection, ticketing, parking, retrieval, and delivery.

•  Guide valet drivers/attendants at assigned lanes or zones and communicate changing priorities.

•  Verify keys and tickets are stored, labeled, and transferred according to established procedures.

•  Assist with staging vehicles and maintaining safe traffic and pedestrian flow during busy periods.

•  Monitor service quality, retrieval times, uniforms, and adherence to safety and driving standards.

•  Help train new team members on site layout, parking locations, equipment, guest service, and emergency procedures.

•  Notify the supervisor immediately of accidents, damage, lost keys, safety hazards, guest complaints, or suspicious activity.

•  Perform vehicle counts and assist with ticket reconciliation, equipment control, and end-of-shift checks.

•  Support guests with directions, accessibility needs, luggage, doors, and general venue information.

•  Assume temporary shift coordination responsibilities when directed by management.

Minimum Qualifications

•  High school diploma or GED preferred.

•  At least one year of valet, parking, hospitality, transportation, or customer-service experience; prior lead experience preferred.

•  Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and ability to meet applicable insurance requirements.

•  Dependable attendance, professional communication, teamwork, and sound judgment.

•  Ability to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles preferred.

•  Ability to learn site layouts, ticketing systems, key-control procedures, and emergency protocols quickly.

Physical and Work Environment

•  Regularly stand and walk for extended periods and work outdoors in Houston heat, humidity, rain, and changing weather conditions.

•  Frequently bend, reach, enter and exit vehicles, and move quickly between the valet lane and parking areas.

•  Lift or carry up to 25 pounds; attendants and operational leaders must be able to jog or run short distances when safe and necessary.

•  Maintain the vision, hearing, coordination, and alertness required to perform assigned duties safely, with or without reasonable

accommodation.

Seasonal Schedule and Conditions of Employment

•  Seasonal, temporary assignment based on client and event needs.

•  Schedules may include early mornings, evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and extended hours.

•  Reliable and punctual attendance is an essential function of the position.

•  Employment is contingent upon successful completion of all client and employer requirements, which may include driving-record

review, background screening, drug testing, training, and credential verification.
