CNC Machinist

CNC Machinist - 1st Shift and 2nd Shift

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to operate CNC turning machines. The role involves assisting with tool changes and offsets, and ensuring smooth operations of 1-2 machines. You will work from work orders and blueprints, with parts and projects varying daily.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC turning machines efficiently.
• Assist with tool changes and offsets.
• Work from work orders and blueprints.
• Manage and oversee the operation of 1-2 machines.
• Adapt to varying parts and projects on a daily basis.

Essential Skills

• Proficient in operating CNC machines.
• Knowledge of G&M code.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Haas and Fanuc systems.
• Familiarity with using calipers, micrometers, and inspection tools.
• Understanding of machining and milling processes.

Work Environment

Work in a CNC machine shop equipped with 22 Mills and 17 Lathes, providing a dynamic and technologically advanced environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Prior Lake, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
