TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Long-Term Care RN in Vestal, New York, 13850!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Long-Term Care Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing experience required License: Must have Client License Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: - Ability to pass a medication administration test and clinical observation - Strong attendance and punctuality required Description: Facility is a state-run long-term care center, including rehabilitation therapies, skilled nursing, memory care, and wound care. Schedule requires 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week, with every other weekend required. Patient ratios are approximately 1:18-20 in a 300-bed facility. First-time travelers are accepted. RTO (Request Time Off) must be approved at the time of submission and cannot be modified once offered. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Responsibilities include monitoring and reporting changes in resident condition and completing timely and accurate documentation. Candidates must provide nursing care in accordance with facility policies while supervising CNAs on assigned units. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential. Dependability with consistent attendance is also required, alongside the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The facility requires that modules are completed prior to assignment start date.
