Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Outpatient Orthopedic position requiring 1 year of experience and BLS certification.

Details

• Outpatient orthopedic setting with dedicated treatment rooms for each therapist
• 60-minute one-on-one sessions with no overlapping patients
• Schedule includes 5x8 hour days, Monday-Friday, or 4x10 hour days
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Patient population includes cervicalgia, low back pain, post-op cervical/shoulder/spinal surgery, total hip/knee replacements, and neurologic conditions such as stroke, MS, Parkinson's, and TBI

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• WI Physical Therapist license or compact license preferred; license required if applicable
• Pending WI or compact license accepted at time of consideration, must be obtained during compliance
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Pelvic floor certification preferred
• Skilled in assessment, body mechanics, home exercise programs, and patient/family education

• Responsibilities include developing and delivering individualized treatment plans for orthopedic and neurologic patients
• Facility cannot accommodate candidates with latex allergies
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates accepted at a lower rate
• Travel pairs accepted
• Previous travelers may return only after a minimum 1-year separation from the facility
• Badge photo required within 24 hours of offer acceptance
• Two supervisor references required after offer acceptance
