Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time contract opportunity, spanning the 2026-2027 school year, focuses on delivering high-quality instruction to elementary learners with mild to moderate needs. The position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, totaling 37.5 hours each week, designed to provide stability for both students and staff.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching certification appropriate for K-5 grades
• Proven experience working with mild to moderate disabilities in elementary settings
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Enthusiasm for collaborating with families, paraeducators, and general education staff
• Adaptability, creativity, and a student-centered approach to teaching

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide differentiated instruction for K-5 students requiring special education services
• Create and maintain a supportive, structured classroom environment
• Develop, review, and update IEPs in accordance with district and state guidelines
• Utilize data to guide instructional decisions and inform progress reporting
• Foster strong relationships with students and work collaboratively with colleagues
• Participate in professional development and contribute to a positive school community
